| 2 | Australia Day – ZulaRoo dedication | The Dedication of our ZulaRoo lodge in Apollo Bay is on Australia Day, Friday 26th of January, from 2pm to 4pm, but you’re welcome to arrive earlier. We’re hiring a 25-seater bus which will leave Hamerkaz at 9am and return approximately 8pm. Seats are $30 per person. | 3 | Australia Day weekend event at ‘Steadfast Overflow’ | If you are wanting to attend any part of Paul and Nicole Bishops’s Australia Day weekend event, Friday night 25th to Sunday 27th of January, at their ‘Steadfast Overflow’ property in Rheola for fellowship and various activities, please email Nicole via our connect address. |
| 4 | Russian-speaking group invites BH to their Australia Day event, 6:30pm | And if you are wanting to stay in Melbourne on Australia Day, Uri Zadirevich, who heads up a local Russian-speaking group, has invited us to celebrate Australia Day with them at 6:30pm in Beaumaris Community Centre. | 5 | MTC courses commencing soon | Our Messianic Training Centre courses for Term 1 commence very soon: Monday 29th of January – Intermediate Biblical Hebrew with Eleanor Miles, Tuesday 30th of January – Beginners Biblical Hebrew with Sharon Dinjan, and Thursday 1st of February – Messiah in the Prophets with Paul Cohen. | 6 | Accommodation needed for Alex Chua | Alex Chua, a new Celebrate Messiah staff member, is moving to Melbourne soon and needs accommodation, either 3 months while he looks for a place to lease, or a one-year lease, preferably close to Hamerkaz. If you or someone you know has something suitable, please ask Karen for Alex’s phone number. |
| 7 | Caring for our Community | Happy birthday today to Pearl who is now 13, Monday to Robben Daniels who is one of our Board members, and William Marsh- Murphy who turns 11, Wednesday to Emmanuel, Jennie Reen, and Zemirah who turns 15, and Thursday to Salome. And happy birthday or wedding anniversary to anyone else celebrating this week. |
