# Announcement Details/Script
1 Welcome Shabbat Shalom and welcome to the Beit HaMashiach community announcements. Thank you for joining us in person and online. If you are new here, we’d love you to introduce yourself to any of our leaders.
Welcome to Paul Cohen who is our guest speaker again.
Rabbi Lawrence will be speaking next Shabbat, as he and Louise arrive back in Melbourne this Friday.
2 Resources There are still many Appointed Times Planners available, which go right up to 31st December this year, and include all the festival dates. They cost $30 each to buy here at the Resources Room, or $35 each at celebratemessiah.com.au/shop
There are also still Messianic Jewish Art Calendars available which include amazing prayers for Israel which we need now more than ever. They cost $15 each to buy here at the Resources Room, or $20 each online.
3 Please look at ‘Lost and Found’ items The Resources Room is also the home of the ‘Lost and Found’ tub, which is now on the pew outside the Babies room. This photo shows the larger items, but there are many smaller items including jewellery. Please have a look to see if anything is yours. Anything not collected by the end of January will be given away.
4 Australia Day weekend – ZulaRoo dedication. Giving financially or various items for ZulaRoo. The Dedication of our ZulaRoo lodge in Apollo Bay on Australia Day is Friday 26th of January, from 2pm to 4pm, but you’re welcome to arrive earlier. We’re most likely hiring a 20-seater bus, which would cost about $25 to $30 per person (regardless of whether child or adult) and already have about 8 people interested, so please see me today or email connect@beithamashiach.com if you’d like a seat in the bus. The bus would probably leave here at 9:30am and would arrive back around 8pm.
Please also email if you’d like the link to the list of items Sarah Bolton put together of things needed at ZulaRoo. Mostly new or as new things.
If at any time you are wishing to financially support ZulaRoo, you can give at celebratemessiah.com.au or using the ZulaRoo envelopes on the offering table.
5 Invitation from Paul & Nicole to Australia Day weekend event at ‘Steadfast Overflow’ The other event happening on the Australia Day weekend – Friday night 26th to Sunday afternoon 28th January – is at Paul and Nicole’s ‘Steadfast Overflow’ property in Rheola, for fellowship with a variety of activities on offer. There’ll be a meal on the Friday night, a healthy high tea on the Saturday, a bush retreat on Sunday morning and other opportunities to bush walk, do some gardening if you fancy and even get some target practice. Some accommodation will be available but you’ll otherwise need to bring your own tent or caravan. You can join in for 1, 2 or 3 days. Please email Nicole our connect address if you have questions, or if you would like to attend, so she can discuss the details with you.
6 Russian-speaking group invites BH to their Australia Day event, 6:30pm If you’re wanting to stay in Melbourne on Australia Day, we now have an option for that – Uri Zadirevich, who heads up a local Russian-speaking group, invites us to celebrate Australia Day with them at Beaumaris Library Hall, starting 6:30pm. We’ll give you more details soon.
