1 Welcome Shabbat Shalom and welcome to the Beit HaMashiach community announcements. Thank you for joining us, whether in person or watching online. If you need any information or have prayer requests, please contact us at connect@beithamashiach.com or call 9572 5792. And if you’re visiting with us, please speak to any of our pastoral care team who are wearing a name lanyard, and they will give you a voucher for a free barista coffee. 2 Shavuot lunch & Mayim Chayim service At the end of this service, you are welcome to stay for our ‘bring and share’ lunch to celebrate Shavuot together. Our weekly Mayim Chayim (Living Waters) service is still at 2pm today, here in our Caulfield Messianic Centre only.
3 Art class We would like to remind you of the Art class that Ruza teaches here at Hamerkaz 12:30pm every Monday. Both men and women are welcome, and feel free to bring friends.
4 Mira Pasula’s funeral Last Shabbat we announced that Mira Pasula, who was watching our services along with others in Tibor’s Third Loaf Ministry, and who sometimes came in person and brought beautiful pastries she made, passed away. Her funeral is this coming Tuesday 30th of May, 10:30am at Nelson Brothers Funeral Services – 81 Kororoit Creek Road, Willamstown.
5 Chagall Exhibition Our beautiful Tribes of Israel prints on our foyer wall are by a Russian-French-Jewish artist named Marc Chagall who lived from 1897 to 1985, so you may like to attend the Chagall exhibition at the Jewish Museum of Australia in St Kilda, from the 9th of June to the 10th of December. Interestingly, the first large-scale exhibition in the Jewish Museum was named ‘Chagall and the Bible’. For more details and to book tickets, please go to jewishmuseum.com.au/chagall
6 Caring for our Community Happy birthday Tuesday to Jordan, to Theodore who turns 8 and to Daniella who turns 16, and Friday to Helena Meinderts. Happy 14th wedding anniversary tomorrow to Rob and Evelyn and Monday to Maxwell and Joan. And a big thank you to Max and Joan for increasing their invovement in Shalom Kids. And happy birthday and wedding anniversary to anyone else celebrating this week.
