# Announcement Details/Script
1 Welcome Shabbat Shalom and welcome to the Beit HaMashiach community announcements. Thank you for joining us in person and online. If you are new here, we’d love you to introduce yourself to any of our leaders.
2 Purim Service Our 10:30am service next Saturday 23rd of March is our Purim service, where we will celebrate the victory God gave the Jewish people including Esther, against their enemies including Haman. Can everyone please wear costumes such as people from the book of Esther, but not Haman, or your favourite character from a book, movie or cartoon. This will be followed by a ‘bring-and-share’ lunch in our dining hall. You are welcome to bring ‘hamantaschen’ (literally ‘Haman’s ears’ – fruit-filled butter cookies), and please also bring some savoury finger food, but remember no pork or shellfish.
3 Passover registration open & Volunteers needed Celebrate Messiah’s Melbourne Passover Seder is at 6pm Wednesday 24th of April, in the St Kilda Town Hall. For more information and to register, please go to celebratemessiah.com.au/booking-passover-2024-mel/

Only volunteers in the band or serving at tables during the Seder will receive the volunteer discount, by registering using the code from Karen.
