1 Welcome Shabbat Shalom and welcome to the Beit HaMashiach community announcements. If you’re new to our website, please introduce yourself to our leaders at connect@beithamashiach.com and we invite you to attend our services if you live in Melbourne – 10:30am every Saturday at 206 Bambra Road, Caulfield South. Or join us online at beithamashiach.com (in the ‘Watch Our Livestream” section).
2 May newsletter Celebrate Messiah’s newest newsletter has arrived, so please take a copy from the foyer table, if you don’t already receive it. This May edition is titled ‘The Harvest Is Plentiful’ and shows an overview of Celebrate Messiah’s ministries, including Beit HaMashiach, and also an update from each of Celebrate Messiah’s outreach workers. It was emailed last Friday 31st of May, and you’ll receive hard copies soon. If you don’t usually receive the email or hard copy version and would like to, please write your name and email address, or postal address if you want a hard copy, on the sign-up sheet next to the newsletters. 3 Counting of the Omer; Lunch after Shavuot service Today is Day 46 out of 50, of the ‘Counting of the Omer’. So we encourage you to continue setting aside some money each day until this coming Tuesday, and bring it to give in our Shavuot service this coming Shabbat 15th of June, 10:30am as usual. Or please give online into the Beit HaMashiach account, making sure to specify ‘Omer Offering’. Rabbi Lawrence and Louise will give it to ministries in Israel who are helping Holocaust survivors.

And don’t forget our bring-and-share lunch after the service next Shabbat, to celebrate Shavuot, also called the Feast of Weeks or Pentecots. We encourage you to bring dairy foods, especially those with cheese, as is customary, but of course no pork or shellfish.
4 Counting of the Omer Today is Day 39 out of 50, of the ‘Counting of the Omer’. So we encourage you to continue setting aside some money each day until Tuesday 11th June, to give in our Shavuot service on Saturday 15th of June, or to donate online into the Beit HaMashiach account, making sure to specify ‘Omer Offering’. The money will be sent to Israel to various ministries who are helping the poor and sharing the good news of Yeshua.
5 MTC Term 3 courses Enrolment is now open for our Messianic Training Centre’s Term 3 Zoom courses:

1. “The Theology of the Jewish Prayer Book”, 8 Tuesday nights commencing 22nd of July, taught by Eleanor Miles
2. “Eight Things About The End Times: A Messianic Jewish Perspective”, 8 Thursday nights commencing 1st of August, taught by Paul Cohen
3. “Beginners Biblical Hebrew Part 3”, 10 Tuesday nights commencing 23rd July, taught by Sharon Dingjan,
And 4. “Intermediate Biblical Hebrew Part 3, 10 Monday nights commencing 22nd of July, taught by Eleanor Miles.

6 Expressions of interest for Barry’s 2025 Israel tour Barry, a Celebrate Messiah outreach worker who leads the Tikkun Olam ministry and speaks in churches and schools, is co-leading a tour to Israel and Petra in May next year. 7 Sons of Korah 30th anniversary concert 8pm 13th July Sons of Korah, a wonderful Australian band who sing Psalms, are having a 30th anniversary concert on Saturday 13th July, from 8pm to 10pm at Stairway Church in Vermont. The concert will also feature a live 8 piece strings orchestra. Tickets are $40. Please register at sonsofkorah.com
