Shabbat Shalom and welcome to the Beit HaMashiach community announcements. If you’re new to our website, please introduce yourself to our leaders at connect@beithamashiach.com and we invite you to attend our services if you live in Melbourne – 10:30am every Saturday at our Caulfield Messianic Centre, often called Hamerkaz (Hebrew for ‘The Centre’) – 206 Bambra Road, Caulfield South. Support the rebuilding of Kibbutz Reim

We encourage you to support the rebuilding of Kibbutz Reim which was destroyed in the Hamas attack on 7th of October 2023. You can either buy jewellery from the Resources Room, or you can donate using the QR code on the Kibbutz Reim poster near the Resources Room.

‘Why Stand With Israel?’ film, and Havdalah service 15th Feb

At 3pm next Shabbat 15th of February, we’ll be showing a film here titled, “Why Stand With Israel?” We encourage you to attend and to bring others.

Then at 5pm we’ll have our monthly Havdalah service to bring a close to Shabbat. From March onwards this will be held on the last Shabbat of each month. This service is in-person only.

Special events to save the date for

Registration is now open for Celebrate Messiah’s 30th Anniversary event, here on Saturday night 22nd March, from 7pm to 9pm. It will feature a worship concert by the Sons of Korah, and also updates on the various ministries of Celebrate Messiah, which Beit HaMashiach is part of. Please go to celebratemessiah.com.au/events for more details and to register for $30 per person.

Please also keep Sunday night 13th April free, for Celebrate Messiah’s Melbourne Passover Seder, from 6pm at St Kilda Town Hall. We’ll let you know when registration is open.

Prayer meetings & Chavurah groups

Prayer meetings we run:

– 10am Wednesday prayer meeting in our Caulfield Messianic Centre Sanctuary (where BH services are held)

– 9:30am every Shabbat, in an upstairs office

– On Zoom: 6am Tuesday & Thursday mornings, and the ‘Prayer for Israel and Jewish people’ 8pm Tuesday.

The leaders and locations of our Chavurah (meaning ‘fellowship’) groups are as follows, and please request a flyer with more details, by emailing the above email address

– 3 groups at Hamerkazs on different nights – one led by Rabbi Lawrence & Louise, a Men’s Group, and a Russian-speaking group

– 1 in Rowville led by Mike & Linda

– 1 Zoom group, led by Dirk & Michelle

– Details of the Hampton Park group are still being worked out, so please speak to Lael or Lumala if you’re interested in this one
