No Mayim Chayim today or 9th Dec; Last M.C. service for 2023 is 16th Dec. There will be no Mayim Chayim service today or next week, the 9th of December, due to conflict with other congregational events. The final Mayim Chayim service for the year will be on the 16th of December at 2pm.
Zoom prayer mtgs for Israel Our Zoom prayer meetings for Israel this coming week are 8pm Tuesday and Thursday, using the same Zoom details, which can be requested at connect@beithamashiach.com.
Hanukkah Picnic in the Park for Beit HaMashiach Let’s celebrate Hanukkah together! Join us for a Hanukkah picnic in Princes Park after the Shabbat service on Saturday, the 9th of December at about 12:30pm onwards. Bring your own food (including traditional latkes), chairs and shade. We will set up on the Hawthorn Road side of Princes Park, in the same area we held the Israel Rally. Some may like to walk over to the Park, holding Israel flags, as a sign of our support for Israel.
Hanukkah This year, the local Hanukkah event put on by the Jewish community is at Caulfield Racecourse, on Sunday 10th of December, from 4:30pm. Entry is free and is via Station Street. It will be a great opportunity to stand with Israel and celebrate Hanukkah, with music, food, rides and finishing at 9pm with fireworks and a grand menorah lighting. For more information go to facebook.com/Chanukahinthepark/ or take a flyer from the foyer table.
Caring for our Community Happy birthday last week to Eliora who turned 8, Mitchell who turned 16, Tricia, Isobel, Margaret and Heike, and this coming week to Aeris who turns 14, Simon Nygaard, Ross and Jenny, our finance staff member in Perth – let’s turn to the cameras and wave to her! Happy wedding anniversary last week to Sam & Heike and this coming week to Katie & Paul. And happy birthday or wedding anniversary to anyone else celebrating this week.
