| 1 | Welcome | Shabbat Shalom and welcome to the Beit HaMashiach community announcements. If you’re new to our website, please introduce yourself to our leaders at connect@beithamashiach.com and we invite you to attend our services if you live in Melbourne – 10:30am every Saturday at 206 Bambra Road, Caulfield South. | 2 | New time for Shalom Playgroup | The time for our Shalom Playgroup here on Tuesdays has changed. It is now from 10am to 12noon. We encourage all of you with pre-school aged children or grandchildren to come along, and to invite others. Cost is $3 per child each week. |
| 3 | MTC | We want to encourage you to enrol in the following Messianic Training Centre courses:
Firstly, ‘The Theology of the Jewish Prayer Book’ which commenced on Tuesday 23rd of July, but the lectures are recorded and it’s not too late to join and catch up. Why learn about this? Because every Jewish household has one! And every Jewish person knows some of the prayers in it. The course teaches the history and spiritual significance of Jewish prayer and liturgy, and will help you connect with a Jewish person effectively and knowledgeably. And you don’t need to know any Hebrew. There’s no lesson this coming Tuesday, so you’ll be able to catch up on Lectures 1 and 2 before Lecture 3 which will be on 13th August. We invite you to a complimentary lunch around 12 noon after the service next Shabbat 10th of August, in support of Israel, being provided by Steven Swiatlo, also known as ‘The Hospitality Man’ (see https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100057200209700) who recently started attending our services. | 5 | Women’s meeting | We invite you to an event our Beit HaMashiach Women’s Ministry is holding here at 12noon on Thursday 15th of August, to seek God’s heart and hear His voice. It will feature intimate worship; practical teaching by Sarah Lavender from Olive Tree Ministries who has seen breakthrough in the lives of many believers though simple prayer tools; personal testimonies of lives changed; and time for journaling, art and personal ministry. God’s heart of restoration is for you and He promises rest for those who come into His presence and who learn to daily abide in who He is. |
| 6 | Simcha | We would love all of you to come to Simcha, our national Messianic conference from Friday 29th of November to Sunday 1st of December, with theme “One Messiah, One People: What Does Peace in the Middle East Look Like?” and guest speaker Shmuel Aweida, an Arab Israeli pastor of a congregation in Israel.
