This Saturday at Beit HaMashiach, join Rabbi Lawrence Hirsch for a powerful Shavuot message: “From Fire on the Mountain to Fire in our Hearts: The Messianic Fulfillment of Shavuot” Discover how the fire of Sinai and the outpouring of the Ruach in Acts 2 reveal God’s unchanging desire to dwell among His people—first in Torah, then in Spirit. Don’t miss this meaningful Shabbat celebration! “When the day of Shavuot had come, they were all together in one place.” (Acts 2:1, TLV)
Join Rabbi Lawrence Hirsch for a powerful message titled, “Messiah in the Mo’adim – Fifty Days That Changed the World.” This week we will discover how the appointed times of the LORD in Parashat Emor point to the redemptive mission of Yeshua the Messiah—from His resurrection on Firstfruits to the outpouring of the Ruach HaKodesh on Shavu’ot. Learn how the Counting of the Omer became a journey of transformation for the early disciples and how these sacred days still speak to us today. This will be a timely message of hope, power, and preparation as we look forward to Shavu’ot!

From Dust to Glory

10/05/2025
As a congregation, we are walking through a season of mourning following the recent passing of several beloved members of our community. In response, Rabbi Lawrence will share a timely and heartfelt message titled, “From Dust to Glory - What does the Bible say about death, judgment, and eternity?" Join us as we explore a Messianic Jewish perspective on death, the resurrection of the righteous, and the eternal consequences for the wicked. Most importantly, discover the unshakable hope we have in Yeshua the Messiah, who conquered the grave and offers eternal life to all who believe. A key verse is: “Yeshua said to her, ‘I am the resurrection and the life! Whoever believes in Me, even if he dies, shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?’” (John 11:25–26, TLV)
A message from this week’s Torah portion, Tazria–Metzora, titled “The Leper Messiah: God’s Touch for the Untouchable.” This parashah speaks to themes of impurity, isolation, and exclusion—but in Yeshua, the Leper Messiah, we see the fulfillment of Isaiah’s prophecy: One who enters our suffering, touches the unclean, and restores the outcast. A key verse is, “Moved with compassion, Yeshua stretched out His hand and touched him. He said, “I am willing. Be cleansed.”” (Mark 1:41, TLV)
As we step into the Season of Redemption and prepare for Passover, this week’s message from Rabbi Lawrence is, “Who Has the Power to Redeem?”. We will explore the deep connections between Parashat Tzav, Shabbat HaGadol, and the promise of Elijah. From the Exodus to the coming of Messiah, we discover that God has the power to redeem not just a nation, but each of us who trust in Him. Join us as we remember the past, live the present, and look forward to the ultimate redemption through Yeshua our Redeemer. Some relevant verses:“You know that you were redeemed from the futile way of life handed down from your ancestors—not with perishable things such as silver or gold, but with precious blood like that of a lamb without defect or spot, the blood of Messiah.” (1 Peter 1:18–19, TLV)
Rabbi Lawrence will share a message from this week’s Parashah titled, "Drawing Near: The Heart of Vayikra". Parashat Vayikra ('And He called') teaches us about drawing near to God through offerings. Each offering – burnt, grain, peace, sin, and guilt – symbolizes different aspects of our relationship with the Lord. In Yeshua our Messiah, we find the ultimate fulfillment of these offerings and atonement for our sins, inviting us to live in closeness with God every day.
This Shabbat Rabbi Lawrence will share a message from this week’s Parashah Pekudei ('the number of') titled, “Kavod Adonai - From the Mishkan to the Messiah.” We trace the powerful journey of the Kavod Adonai—the glory of the LORD—from the wilderness Tabernacle to the living presence of Messiah Yeshua. We will discover how the same glory that filled the Mishkan now dwells in us through the Ruach and what it means to live as His holy dwelling place. Don’t miss this prophetic connection between Torah and the Brit Chadashah! Key verses are: “Then the cloud covered the Tent of Meeting, and the glory of Adonai filled the Tabernacle. Moses was unable to enter into the Tent of Meeting, because the cloud resided there and the glory of Adonai filled the Tabernacle.” (Exodus 40:34–35, TLV)
