1 Welcome Shabbat Shalom, L’Shanah Tovah – Happy Jewish New Year, and welcome to the Beit HaMashiach community announcements. Thank you for joining us in person and online. And if you’re a visitor, please introduce yourself to any of our pastoral care team wearing name-tags, so they can get to know you and give you a voucher for a free barista coffee. 2 Dr Kameel Majdali speaking at both services today We are excited to have Dr Kameel Majdali, Director of ‘Teach All Nations’, and his wife Leanne with us today for both services. In this 10:30am service, Dr Kameel’s message is titled, ‘Coronation and the Anointing of the Holy Spirit.’ And in the 2pm service, which is in person only, his message is titled, ‘The Fruit of the Spirit is Patience: Key to the Promises of God’.
3 Guest speakers on 7th Oct On Shabbat 7th of October, when we’ll be celebrating Hoshanah Rabbah, Shemini Atzeret and Simchat Torah, Camilo Junca- Leon is speaking in our 10:30am service, and we’ll be introducing Andrew Tucker and Johannes Gerloff who will be speaking in the 2pm service. Andrew is the Director of a European think-tank who advise governments and challenge the misuse of international law against Israel. Johannes is a media correspondent and theologian who will be speaking about the connection of the land of Israel and the people of Israel.
4 Volunteers needed so Shalom Youth can be weekly Shalom Youth is currently fortnightly and we are wanting it to be weekly, but first we need more volunteers to help, for just 1 hour per fortnight. If you are interested in this vital ministry or want more information, please see Felicity or contact her at felicity@celebratemessiah.com.au.
5 Church callers ad We are looking for Church Relations Coordinators to work part- time with Celebrate Messiah.Key tasks include:

Calling churches to gain speaking engagements for our missionaries.

Maintaining and updating our Customer Relationship Management system.

Calling donors as required.

Applicants will have an above average level of computer competency, and telemarketing experience.

6 Art Class As you can see from the photo, our Art Class is growing! It is here every Tuesday from 1pm to 3pm, led by our very own artist, Donald Kenner, and you are welcome to join in any week.
7 Messianic Jewish Art Calendar and Appointed Times Planner Our new Messianic Jewish Art calendars, with the theme ‘Prayers for Israel’, are available in our Resources Room for the discounted prices of: 1 for $21, 2 for $40 and 3 for $56. A helpful companion to this is the “Appointed Times Planner”, which is available from the Resources Room for the discounted price of

$30. Both the Calendar and the Planner are available at celebratemessiah.com.au/shop, and the prices there include postage.

8 How to give funds for ZulaRoo project We would love you to partner with us in raising funds to buy a home in Apollo Bay to host Israeli backpackers, which will be managed by Corey and Sarah Bolton. You can give at celebratemessiah.com.au/donate and make sure you specify ‘ZulaRoo’, or by direct debit using the details on the screen. If you attend in person and want to give cash, please use one of the envelopes marked ‘ZulaRoo’ then put it in the nearby offering box.
8 How to give funds for ZulaRoo project We have an exciting new project and we would love you to partner with us in raising funds to buy a home in Apollo Bay to host Israeli backpackers, which will be managed by Corey and Sarah Bolton. This home will be used to provide a wonderful hosting experience for Israeli travellers. If you attend in person and want to give cash, please put it in one of the Celebrate Messiah envelopes near the offering box which have ‘ZulaRoo’ on them, then put it in the offering box. 9 High Holy Days services We hope you enjoyed our Erev Rosh Hashanah service last night in person or online, and it is still available on our website and YouTube channel, or by using the link emailed to you this past Thursday. We invite you to our next High Holidays services which are: Firstly, Erev Yom Kippur or Day of Atonement Kol Nidre service at 6:30pm next Sunday 24th of September, which is here and also livestreamed at our BH website and YouTube channel. And secondly, the Yom Kippur ‘Closing of the Gates’ prayer meeting at 4pm Monday 25th September which is only in person.
10 MTC Term 4 courses Celebrate Messiah’s Messianic Training Centre Term 4 Zoom courses are available to enrol in: “The Jewishness of the New Testament”, and “Biblical Hebrew Level 1 Part 4”. Please note that the Hebrew course will commence on the 9th of October, not the 2nd as previously advertised, and will finish on the 11th of December. 11 Simcha conference Please register as soon as possible for Simcha, Celebrate Messiah’s national Messianic conference, in November, from Friday night 24th Sunday morning 26th, or for the Youth Camp if you are in Years 7 to 12, by going to the Upcoming Events section of celebratemessiah.com.au If you can’t attend Simcha in person, you can register to receive the livestream links which you can watch live or any time afterwards.
12 Caring for our Community Happy birthday today to Linda Bedford and to Tony Jeftimov who feels it’s a special birthday being his first since coming to BH, tomorrow to Manman and to Raphael de Silva who turns 6, and Monday to Andrey and to Zara who turns 18. Happy wedding anniversary Tuesday to Emmanuel & Lynn and Phillip & Sharon, and Wednesday to Mick & Jennifer. And happy birthday and wedding anniversary to anyone else celebrating this week.
