| 1 | Welcome | Shabbat Shalom and welcome to the Beit HaMashiach community announcements. If you’re new to our website, please introduce yourself to our leaders at connect@beithamashiach.com and we invite you to attend our services if you live in Melbourne – 10:30am every Saturday at 206 Bambra Road, Caulfield South. Or join us online at beithamashiach.com (in the ‘Watch Our Livestream” section). |
| 2 | Shalom programs check-in & check- out reminder | Parents, please remember to check in your children of all ages including youth, before the service, with the volunteer at the table at the back of the dining hall. Then after the service, parents with children in Shalom Creche and Shalom Kids need to go there to check them out, before collecting them from their rooms. But Shalom Youth will be brought down to the dining hall, so there’s no need for you to check them out. |
| 3 | Car convoy in support of Israel | We encourage you to support the Jewish community in Melbourne who are having a car convoy on Sunday 15th of September, from 5:30pm to 9:30pm. Join them in driving around with flags and messages of hope to raise awareness of the antisemitism that has risen in Australia, and to raise awareness for the 109 hostages who are still being held in Gaza. Registration is essential – events.humanitix.com/car-convoy-junited – and more details such as the location will be emailed to you once you have registered. |
| 4 | Volunteers needed for Tikkun Olam packing and delivering for Rosh HaShanah | We are seeking volunteers to help with the Tikkun Olam packing and delivering of food hampers for Rosh HaShanah, from 10am Thursday 26th of September, here in our Caulfield Messianic Centre. | 8 | Caring for our Community | Happy birthday today to Kelly, Monday to Eliora Lau who turns 5, Tuesday to Oliver Marton and to Levi Hirsch who turns 5, Wednesday to Michelle Crouse and to Zachariah who watches online and turns 8, and Friday to Monita and to Ezra Toma who turns 6. Happy 39th wedding anniversary today to our amazing Rabbi Lawrence and Louise, whose love for each other is such a wonderful example to all of us, and happy 10th wedding anniversary Friday to Doctors Jason and Evelyn. And happy birthday or wedding anniversary to anyone else celebrating this week. |
