| 1 | Welcome | Shabbat Shalom and welcome to the Beit HaMashiach community announcements. If you’re new to our website, please introduce yourself to our leaders at connect@beithamashiach.com and we invite you to attend our services if you live in Melbourne – 10:30am every Saturday at 206 Bambra Road, Caulfield South. | 2 | Car convoy in support of Israel | We encourage you to support the Jewish community in Melbourne who are having a car convoy tomorrow 15th of September, from 5:30pm to 9:30pm. Join them in driving around with flags and messages of hope to raise awareness of the antisemitism and of the 109 hostages who are still being held in Gaza. Registration is essential at events.humanitix.com/car-convoy-junited |
| 3 | Term 4 MTC courses | Registration is open for our Messianic Training Centre’s Term 4 courses, including a new course titled, “Rooted in Faith: Deepening our Relationship with Adonai”, being taught by Felicity Lorenz who is our Youth and Young Adults ministry leader. The course is suitable for everyone, whether you’ve been a believer in Yeshua for a day or decades, so we encourage everyone who is part of Beit HaMashiach to enrol in it.
The Beginners and Intermediate Biblical Hebrew courses are continuing, so if you’re currently doing Part 3, please enrol in Part 4. | 4 | High Holy Days special services | We invite you to join us for the special services we’re having in October to celebrate the High Holy Days. Please take a photo of these dates and save them in your diary:
Erev Rosh HaShanah – 6:30pm Wednesday 2nd of October Erev Yom Kippur Kol Nidre – 6:30pm Friday 11th of October Ne’ila prayer service to end Yom Kippur – 5pm Saturday 12th of October Erev Sukkot – 6:30pm Wednesday 16th of October, with supper afterwards All services will also be live-streamed, except the Ne’ila prayer service. |
| 5 | Caring for our Community | Happy birthday today to Abigail Hirsch for whom we continue to pray for miraculous healing, tomorrow to David Ling, Monday to Tony Jeftimov and to Linda Bedford who moved to Apollo Bay during this past week, Tuesday to Manman and to Raphael de Silva who turns 7, and Wednesday to Zara and to Andrey who is leading worship today.
Happy wedding anniversary Thursday to Emmanuel and Lynn who are celebrating 43 years, and to Phillip and Sharon who are celebrating 35 years, and Friday to Mick and Jennifer (who watch online from Qld) who are celebrating 32 years. And happy birthday or wedding anniversary to anyone else celebrating this week. |
