Faith Beyond the Struggle – Keeping Our Hand to the Plow

Passage: Exodus 6:2–9:35

Today, Rabbi Lawrence will share a message from this week’s Parashah Va’era (Exodus 6:2–9:35), connecting it with Yeshua’s call to discipleship: to keep our “hand to the plow and not look back” (Luke 9:57–62). This week’s message, titled “Faith Beyond the Struggle – Keeping Our Hand to the Plow,” encourages us to trust in God and His promises as we look ahead to the coming year. Through Scripture, we are reminded that even when circumstances seem hopeless or uncertain, God’s promises remain steadfast. Our faith must compel us to act in obedience to Yeshua, keeping our eyes fixed on Him and His redemptive plan, both for our lives and for the world. A key verse is, “Therefore say to Bnei-Yisrael: I am Adonai, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians. I will deliver you from their bondage, and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm and with great judgments.” (Exodus 6:6, TLV)
