Register for “From the Depths”
Join us for an evening where ancient narrative meets contemporary resonance. From the Depths brings the journey of the prophet Jonah to life through dramatic choral textures, solo trombone, and piano—performed in both Hebrew and English to create a musical experience that is both culturally and spiritually profound.
This one-night-only performance features an ensemble of talented local singers and instrumentalists, drawn from Melbourne’s vibrant musical community. Their artistry gives depth and warmth to every note, making this concert not only a creative achievement but a celebration of local artistry.

A Concert for Hope: Standing with Soroka Hospital, Israel
In response to Iran’s devastating missile attack on Soroka Medical Centre in Be’er Sheva on 19th of June 2025, we are coming together to raise funds for the restoration and support of this vital hospital. Soroka is a place of healing and unity in the South of Israel, as it serves Jews, Arabs, and Bedouins alike, offering world-class care regardless of ethnicity, faith, or background. In the midst of conflict and suffering, Soroka stands for hope, compassion, and resilience.
All proceeds will go directly to Soroka Medical Centre’s emergency relief and reconstruction efforts. Your support will help rebuild this vital centre, honour the caregivers who continue to serve under fire, and affirm that hope is stronger than hate.
By attending From the Depths, you not only experience a powerful artistic work, but you also contribute to recovery and compassion in a region that urgently needs both. Music becomes more than sound. It becomes solidarity.
