Shabbat Shalom and welcome to the Beit HaMashiach community announcements. If you’re new to our website, please introduce yourself to our leaders at connect@beithamashiach.com and we invite you to attend our services if you live in Melbourne – 10:30am every Saturday at our Caulfield Messianic Centre, often called Hamerkaz (Hebrew for ‘The Centre’) – 206 Bambra Road, Caulfield South. Shalom Youth picnic after today’s service

Shalom Youth are having a picnic lunch today (Saturday 29th March) straight after the service, with parents and siblings, at Princes Park, on the corner of Jasmine and Birch streets. Please bring your own lunch, picnic chairs, picnic blanket and sports equipment. It’s a 10-minute walk or 1-minute drive from here.

Havdalah service 5pm today

Then at 5pm here in the Sanctuary (also Saturday 29th March), is our monthly Havdalah service, a beautiful time of worship and prayers, to bring a close to the Shabbat.

Passover Seder

This Wednesday 2nd of April, registration closes for our Melbourne Passover Seder, which is 6pm Sunday night 13th of April at St Kilda Town Hall. Please register at celebratemessiah.com.au/booking-passover-2025-mel/

Term 2 MTC courses

The Term 2 Messianic Training Centre courses, running live on Zoom, and commencing in late April are:

• Judges and Ruth: Faith in Troubled Times, taught by Paul Cohen

• Beginners Biblical Hebrew Part 2, taught by Eleanor Miles
• Intermediate Biblical Hebrew Part 2, taught by Sharon Dingjan

And previous courses are available to purchase as online modules, or on a USB flash drive.

Never Again Is Now & Israel-is event 8th April

On Tuesday night 8th of April, Never Again Is Now and Israel-is are running a free event here in our Caulfield Messianic Centre. There will be a panel sharing their experiences from and after October 7th in Israel from 6:45pm to 7:30pm, and the option of a virtual reality experience before or afterwards. Volunteers needed for Tikkun Olam packing & delivering Thursday 10th April

Then on Thursday 10th of April, volunteers are urgently needed for the Tikkun Olam packing and delivering of Passover food hampers, starting at 10am here in Hamerkaz. CM Content Creator volunteer position

Celebrate Messiah is seeking a Content Creator to support our growing marketing and communications initiatives. This role will focus on developing engaging digital and print content, managing social media platforms, and assisting with advertising and donor communications. The ideal candidate is a creative individual with strong writing skills, familiarity with social media, and an ability to use digital design tools like Canva. This role is well-suited for a university student or recent graduate looking for hands-on experience in content creation, digital marketing, and nonprofit communications with flexible hours. This is a voluntary position, but should be treated with the same level of professionalism and commitment as a paid role.
