Shabbat Shalom and welcome to the Beit HaMashiach community announcements. If you’re new to our website, please introduce yourself to our leaders at connect@beithamashiach.com and we invite you to attend our services if you live in Melbourne – 10:30am every Saturday at our Caulfield Messianic Centre, often called Hamerkaz (Hebrew for ‘The Centre’) – 206 Bambra Road, Caulfield South. Second screening of ‘Why Stand With Israel?’

We encourage as many of you as possible to please stay to watch the documentary ‘Why Stand With Israel?’, which we’re showing here at 1:30pm today.

Tikkun Olam packing & delivering

The Tikkun Olam packing and delivering of food hampers for Purim will start here at 10am this coming Thursday 6th of March. If you’re able to help, please contact Barry today or tomorrow , using the details on the screen.

BH Purim service

We are going to celebrate Purim in our 10:30am Shabbat service on 15th March. Everyone please dress up in a fun costume, and come along to encourage our children who will sing a song. We’ll have a bring-and-share lunch here afterwards, and you may like to bring the traditional cookies called hamantaschen, meaning Haman’s ears.

Special events

Tickets are selling fast for Celebrate Messiah’s 30th Anniversary event which is here on Saturday night 22nd March, from 7pm to 9pm.  It will be a celebration of God’s faithfulness, will feature a worship concert by the Sons of Korah, and will end with fellowship over supper. Please go to the link on the screen for more details and to register for $30 per person by 30th March. The event is not advisable for young children.

Tickets are also selling fast for Celebrate Messiah’s Melbourne Passover Seder, from 6pm Sunday night 13th April at St Kilda Town Hall. Please register at the same link.

We will need many volunteers for various aspects of the night, so please see May-Lee Wee or Claire Carvosso if you would like to volunteer. Volunteers will not need to register as you will be serving instead of sitting at tables.

Celebrate Messiah is also running Passover Seders in Canberra and Sydney, and details of those are also available at the same link.

Cards of Israel, to raise funds for new Torah scroll for BH

These beautiful cards feature iconic places and sites of Israel painted by talented Christian artist Cynthia Venn. They’re selling for $4 each or 3 for $10 at the Resources Room. All proceeds will go towards acquiring a new Torah scroll.

Caring for our community

Happy birthday today to Adam who is now 18, tomorrow to Noah who turns 9, Monday to Olivia who turns 4 & Keilah who turns 11, Tuesday to Sally, & to Monika who joined the worship team today, and Thursday to Maxwell.

Happy 44th wedding anniversary Friday to Paul Bishop’s parents Edwin & Dianne .

And happy birthday and wedding anniversary to anyone else celebrating this week.
