MTC Term 3 courses |
Our Messianic Training Centre is pleased to announce 4 exciting new courses for Term 3, commencing in July and running live on Zoom: 1. Unshakable Promises: Israel, Jesus and the God Who Keeps His Word. An 8-week course by Kelvin Crombie on Wednesday nights. Step into the unfolding story of God’s eternal covenants and discover the profound connection between the nation of Israel and Jesus the Messiah. This transformative 8-week course unveils how God’s sworn promises shape history, define identity, and secure the future. Be strengthened in your faith as you explore the unwavering character of the God who keeps His word. 2. The Gospel of John: A Messianic Jewish View. An 8-week course by Paul Cohen on Thursday nights. The Gospel of John is often considered the most ‘philosophical’ of the four Gospels. However, John was no Greek philosopher; his Gospel is profoundly rooted in Jewish thought, scripture and tradition. This course will illuminate the Jewish worldview that shaped this pivotal New Testament text, and enrich your understanding of both its timeless message and of Yeshua, the Jewish Messiah. 3. Beginners Biblical Hebrew Part 3. A 10-week course by Eleanor Miles on Monday nights. 4. Intermediate Biblical Hebrew Part 3. A 10-week course by Sharon Dingjan on Tuesday nights. Please go to celebratemessiah.com.au/mtc for prices and other details, and to register. Past courses are also available to purchase as online modules, or on a USB flash drive. |

MTC Administrator needed 8-10 hours per week |
We’re excited to let you know that our Messianic Training Centre, or MTC, is looking for a new Administrator to help coordinate and promote its courses. MTC exists to train leaders and believers for Messianic Jewish life, ministry, and outreach, and this role is key to making that happen smoothly. The position involves organising online courses, helping students with the learning platform called Moodle, managing communications and course promotions, and keeping things running behind the scenes. If you’re organised, tech-friendly, and passionate about seeing Jewish people come to know their Messiah, this could be a great fit! It’s part-time and flexible, so if that sounds like something you or someone you know might be interested in, please email Karen at enquiries@celebratemessiah.com.au to get the job description. The closing date for applications is 2nd July. |

Muchan |
We would like to remind you that we have a few young adults here needing financial assistance for airfares to attend Muchan, a conference for Messianic young adults all over the world, meeting in Budapest this year, so feel free to donate online specifying ‘Muchan’, or use the envelopes at the back of the Sanctuary labelled ‘Muchan’. Also, in coming weeks there will be T-shirts and other items for sale with Jewish designs, to help fundraise for them, so please participate in that. |

Caring for our community |
We extend our love and prayer for God’s comfort to Virginia Rogers whose mother passed away recently. Her funeral is 11am this Wednesday 25th June at St John the Baptist Catholic Church in Ferntree Gully. Happy birthday today to Nicole Bishop & Simon Fraser; Monday to Anju and Roland; Wednesday to Ian & Nathan, and it would have been Norman’s birthday too if he was still with us, so we’re thinking of Pam & Helen at this time; and Thursday to Annie Momo & to Netaniel who turns 6. Happy wedding anniversary today to Simon & Lizzy who are away for a couple of nights for a well-deserved celebration. And happy birthday and wedding anniversary to any others who are celebrating this week. |
