| 1 | Welcome | Shabbat Shalom and welcome to the Beit HaMashiach community announcements. If you’re new to our website, please introduce yourself to our leaders at connect@beithamashiach.com and we invite you to attend our services if you live in Melbourne – 10:30am every Saturday at 206 Bambra Road, Caulfield South. Or join us online at beithamashiach.com (in the ‘Watch Our Livestream” section). |
| 2 | Prayer meetings | We would like to remind you of 2 prayer meetings we are running at the moment to specifically pray for Israel: Tuesdays from 6pm to 9pm here at our Caulfield Messianic Centre, and Tuesdays from 8pm on Zoom. And here are our other prayer meetings which pray for other things in addition to Israel: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6am on Zoom, Tuesdays from 11am – Women’s prayer & pastoral care meeting on Zoom, Wednesdays from 10am to 12noon here, and Saturdays from 9:30am to 10:20am here. Zoom details for those held on Zoom can be requested at connect@beithamashiach.com And all these prayer meetings are listed on the flyer on the foyer table. |
| 3 | Event ‘Life in Israel After October 7’ | We invite you to a Shabbat dinner here at 6:30pm this Friday 30th of August, with 2 Russian-speaking outreach workers serving in Israel. The event, with the theme ‘Life in Israel After October 7’ will be in both Russian and English, and you must RSVP as soon as possible using the QR code or phone number on the flyers below. Another outreach workers from Israel will be speaking in our service at 10:30am next Shabbat 31st of August. |
| 4 | Havdalah service | On the last Shabbat each month, we have a Havdalah service which is a short service to mark the end of the Shabbat and usher in the new week. So the next one is next Shabbat 31st of August, from 5pm upstairs. |
| 5 | Calendars | We would like to remind you that our Messianic Jewish Art Calendars, with the theme “Preserving the Promise” are available from our Resources Room for $20 each. | 6 | Planners | We also now have 40 Appointed Times Planners available in our Resources Room for $33 each. These beautifully crafted day planner diaries integrate local calendars with the Jewish calendar and Biblical holidays, so you can plan your life on God’s timing. They are published by Susanna Wyld, and Eleanor Miles who is one of our outreach workers and co-pastors at Hineh Yeshua congregation in Canberra. They are not available on our online store, however they are available on the publisher’s online store – appointed-times.com Please ensure you choose one of the Australian versions, unless you’re watching us from USA or UK. |
| 7 | Caring for our Community | Happy birthday today to Gabriel who turns 14, Monday to Moriah who turns 4, Tuesday to Lynn and to Zion who turns 3, and Wednesday to Patricia Swinn. Happy 25th wedding anniversary Wednesday to Troy and Elizabeth. And happy birthday or wedding anniversary to anyone else celebrating this week. |
